Me

I have been asked about myself, what I look like, etc. Well, here I am. I'm a widow in my fifties with two children. I have been designing themes and wallpaper for about 5 years. I like designing graphics very much. I also make other kinds of art. I play around with fractal programs and Poser and Bryce.

Do you like the beautiful music playing in the background? I love it, but I thought others might not, so you have the option to turn it off. It belongs to Andy Klapwyck who has given me permission to use it here. I found it one day while surfing the web. I heard "Mist" by Andy playing, and it spoke to me. It is the most beautiful thing I think I have ever heard. I just knew there must be words for the music because I could almost hear them. They were just on the tip of my tongue, you know? The music was so sad but so joyous at the same time. I set out to find the words. They were written by Dorothy Acton. The poem is a little farther down the page. Please take the time to read it. It is titled "And The World Goes Round Again." The words say to me that nothing lasts forever, but it never ends either. So, with luck, my world (and yours) will turn around again.

And The World Goes Round Again

Such a very simple scene--
A small cafe, a table cleared,
One couple leaves, the next stands by--
And the world goes round again.

After sunset stars appear
With a promise of new dawn,
Sunrise glow and a new day--
And the world goes round again.

A darkened room, and old eyes close.
Next door a baby born.
Today my turn, tomorrow yours--
And the world goes round again.

There is something magical
In the way God planned the rain,
Flowers bloom and seed and die--
And the world goes round again.

Mountains lift and waters flow,
Streams are fed, the rapids go,
Waters make the earth renew--
And the world goes round again.
